Patient Service Coordinator:
Our Patient Service Coordinators greet our patients and are the first part of our patient experience! Their responsibilities include:
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking patients in/out for their exam
- Collecting correct demographics and insurance information
- Verifying some insurance plans and explaining coverage
- Summarizing charges at the end of the exam
- Other administrative duties
The right candidate must have the following:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Problem-solving skills
- Multi-taking skills
- Computer skills
This position varies between two of our locations: 814 S Main St in Holmen and 2014 State Rd 16 in La Crosse. Reliable transportation is a must for this position! The hours are typically 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, but may vary slightly based on patient schedules.

Doctor's Assistant:
Our Doctor's Assistants help assist the doctors and are usually the second part of our patient experience! Their responsibilities include:
- Pre-screening patients
- Collecting health history data
- Reviewing patient charts to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Preform contact lens classes
- Other administrative duties

- Assessing patient eyewear needs
- Assisting in frame selections
- Recommending specific lenses and lens treatments to meet patient needs
- Accurately and professionally ordering and dispensing eyeglasses
- Performing adjustments and repairs
